Minolta MD Rokkor-X 45mm F2 to EOS conversion using a M42-EOS adapter

Top of the mount cut off.  The remain base was grinded off 0.5 mm
Removing ID ring from the front :  to fine-tune focus infinity
ID ring removed.  Now removing the 3 screws that hold the top part (filter)
Both filter ring and top part removed.  Loosen the 3 outer screws and adjust infinity
This needs to be trimmed off
It is trimmed off
Put back aperture control mechanism
Mount base is now too thin for the aperture mechanism's screws.  Sand them off!

Tools used:
[*]Precision screw drivers:similar to this

[*]Small Angle Grinder: borrowed from my dad but you can find one similar to this

[*]Dremel:similar to this

[*]Superglue/Epoxy: this lens is so small and light I decided just to use super glue instead of the regular screws.

Time: 2-3 hours.

**Note: Be careful handling the tools. If you are tired, take a break. It's no fun when theres' blood.
